The history of temporary employment

Born out of necessity

A shortage of personnel caused two American attorneys in 1948 to offer a special service. Aaron Scheinfeld and Elmer Winter needed an employee for the drafting of a written legal document. They realised that no company offered temporary personnel.

Thus, the two men founded the first temporary employment agency.
